Reunion Illustrator Holly Dewolf (New) finished writing her book and it is now available for pre-order on AMAZON.

Author Heather Matthews (Smith)'s first novel 'Carolina' is available now, and her second novel 'Below The Sapphire Sea' will be released September 15, 2009.

Bobby Umar and Fade To Brown will being airing their sketch comedy TV pilot on June 21, 2009 @ 7pm on OMNI 2.

Stephanie Mainville (Murray) is recording her new CD, OUT OF NOWHERE, and performed in her third official ECMA Showcase at the 2008 East Coast Music Awards in Fredericton, NB. At our 2008 reunion Stephanie performed 'HOME', a song from her upcoming CD and tore the roof off KVHS with her version of Guns N Roses' 1988 classic Sweet Child of Mine. Thank you for voting.

Watch culinary alumna Laura Calder on French Food at Home airing on Food Network Canada. Laura inspired our 2008 KVHS extravaganza buffet menu and her latest book, French Taste, is in stores now! It has the best recipes from three seasons of the Food Network series, French Food at Home, plus amusing essays about everything from how to shop, to buying cheese, to serving digestifs. The hospitable Boilerworks catered our 2008 tantalizing dinner.

Reunion Details

The 1988 KVHS 25 Year reunion is proposed for the New Brunswick Day long weekend on August 2nd & 3rd, 2013. Please keep this date in mind when scheduling your summer vacation or planning a wedding et cetera. Friday night, August 2, 2013 from 7-10pm the reunion kicks off with a 'GRAD ONLY' (Yes, all KVHS graduates from any year) moonlight KARAOKE cruise of the Saint John river on board the M.V. Voyageur II Mississippi river boat. There is a cash bar on the river boat. Greco Pizza will be served on board. Registration opens at 6:15pm at the Saint John Marina Upper Deck Lounge. Melvin's Bar is offering our alumni 'happy hour' beer & bar shots all weekend + no cover charge; great spot to meet up with family & friends after our cruise and party with ?. Saturday, August 3, 2013 from 12-4pm continues with a fun-filled 'Family Beach Day' at Meenan's Cove Park, regardless if Grads have a family or not. Bar-BQ from 12-2pm. Softball game; don't forget your ball glove, camera, & sunscreen! Children's playground, volley ball sand courts, swimming, and more! Saturday night, August 3, 2013 from 9pm-1am MuchMusic Video Dance Party at our beloved Kennebecasis Valley High School*. KVHS doors open for registration at 8pm. Cash Bar. Hors d'oeuvres. Door prizes too! DRESS CODE FOR EVENTS IS NIRVANA STYLE: COME AS YOU ARE OR AS YOU WERE. *School will be warm, so dress accordingly.

The 1988 KVHS REUNION GROUP is self-supporting through our own contributions. There are (3) reunion package available to our alumni / teachers or guests. These packages are priced per person and are available until August 1, 2013 or SOLD OUT. There are only 96 PLATINUM / GOLD packages available. Guests are welcome at: Melvin's Bar after our cruise, our KVHS MuchMusic Video Dance Party & our Family Beach Day.

THE PLATINUM PACKAGE - includes all events on August 2 & 3, 2013; our welcoming alumni river boat KARAOKE cruise on August 2, 2013 & fun-filled Family Beach Day at Meenan's Cove Park + KVHS MuchMusic Video Dance Party on August 3, 2013. Available to KVHS alumni / teachers from any year. $ ?
