Bobby Umar is developing a sketch comedy show for OMNI television.

Stephanie Mainville (Murray) is recording a new album and performed in her third official ECMA Showcase at the 2008 East Coast Music Awards in Fredericton, NB. Stephanie will be performing a song from her 'FAMILY' CD along with the 1988 classic _____?_____ at our reunion. Thank you for voting.

Reunion Details

The 1988 / 1993 KVHS reunion is confirmed for the New Brunswick Day long weekend in August 2008. Please keep this date in mind when scheduling your summer vacation or planning a wedding et cetera. Friday night, August 1, 2008 from 7-10pm the reunion kicks off with a 'GRAD ONLY' (Yes, all KVHS graduates from any year) moonlight cruise of the Saint John river on board the M.V. Voyageur II Mississippi river boat. Munchies will be served on board. Registration opens at 6:15pm at the Saint John Marina Lower Deck Lounge. O'Leary's Pub is offering our alumni 'happy hour' drink prices all weekend + no cover charge; great spot to meet up with family & friends after our cruise. Saturday, August 2, 2008 from 12-4pm continues with a fun-filled 'Family Beach Day' at Meenan's Cove Park, regardless if Grads have a family or not. Bar-BQ from 12-2pm. Softball game; don't forget your ball glove, camera, & sunscreen! Children's playground, inflatable bouncer castle, swimming, and more! Saturday night will be the grand finale with a dinner & dance for Grads, Guests, and Teachers at our beloved Kennebecasis Valley High School from 6pm-1am. Kevin Flynn will be Master of Ceremonies (MC). Comedy by Bobby Umar. Live house band is BIG EASY. Two of New Brunswick's finest bartenders, Tony Whitlock and Kristi Forsyth, will be slinging drinks gratis. Special performances by Stephanie Mainville (Murray) and P.S. Your Cat is Dead. Late night pizza. Door prizes too! *WARNING - This event may cause joy and laughter. Sunday, August 3, 2008 from 9am-4pm the 3 Mile Pub is offering our alumni a Steak & Eggs breakfast (8 ounce Striploin) served with a tasty Bloody Caesar/Mary for only $10 + tax! Reunion Fees

The 1988 KVHS REUNION GROUP and KVHS Class of 1993 are self-supporting through their own contributions. There are three (3) optional reunion packages available to our alumni and/or guests. Packages are priced per person and are available until July 25, 2008 or SOLD OUT. Please email collierscott@hotmail.com if there is any confusion regarding the following packages. Alumni and/or guests will be registering at events. Identification (ID) required. Book now! Space is limited:

PLATINUM PACKAGE - includes all events on August 1 & 2, 2008; our breathtaking alumni river boat cruise, fun-filled Family Beach Day, and our KVHS extravaganza. Available to KVHS alumni from any year $90

GOLD PACKAGE - includes August 1, 2008 alumni event + August 2, 2008 Family Beach Day; our breathtaking alumni river boat cruise on the Saint John river + our fun-filled family day at Meenan's Cove Park. Available to KVHS alumni from any year $50

SILVER PACKAGE * - includes August 2, 2008 events; our Family Beach Day + our KVHS extravaganza. $50 Available to KVHS alumni from any year or guests * Guests must be at least 19 years of age to attend our KVHS extravaganza. Security will be monitoring this event.

TEACHERS - You are encouraged to join us for dinner on August 2, 2008 at KVHS. Available to all KVHS Teachers $35 OR Feel free to drop by Meenan's Cove Park for our Family Beach Day and/or after dinner at KVHS at no charge. There will be a cash bar at our KVHS extravaganza.

Alumni, Teachers, and Guests can pay by cheque (post-dated welcomed) or money order (payable to '1988 KVHS REUNION GROUP'), a PayPal account or major credit card. Thank you to all alumni who submitted early deposits. Please subtract this amount from your outstanding fee. Click on the 'TREASURY' tab at the top of this page to view alumni / guests who have paid their reunion fees. Due to the conditions associated with our liquor permit, admission cannot be sold at the door.
